A 19th century French silver gilt wall mirror of elegant proportions. The scale of this pretty mirror is such that it could easily be wall hung or equally useful as a floor standing dressing mirror. The silver gilt has worn a little in places developing a wonderfully atmospheric surface. The frame is decorated with evenly spaced etched lines and flecks of charcoal grey throughout creating a stunning contrast of silver and grey. Good original mirror plate. Substantial original pine backboards.
