An early 19th century oil on canvas portrait of a young aristocratic gentleman. He strikes a very confident pose with an air of affluence. A handsome face with strong features and eyes of blue. Seated against a rich atmospheric green blue background. Minor repairs to the canvas and re lined. Mounted within associated period gilt frame. Circa 1820.
