Large Scale Wall / Dressing Mirror

The scale to this fabulous 19th century mirror is such that it could easily be used floor standing to serve as a dressing mirror or equally stunning as a large wall / overmantle mirror. The wide original gilt wood frame has a raised central moulding which is flanked on either side with bands of plain gold leaf. The raised moulding is etched with a neat cross hatch pattern interspersed with a small floral motif. A border of small gesso beads frame the large mirror plate. The mirror plate is in superb original condition. Original back boards. Large French wall mirror circa 1860.
