English dresser base

An 18th century English oak dresser base. An exceptionally wide seasoned oak timber spans the top of this period country house base. Below are a run of three neatly fitting drawers. Each drawer holds twin swans neck handles to the dresser base together with brass escutcheons. The whole standing on four square legs. There are a few historical nibbles and dints gathered over the passage of time only adding to its history and charm. Gorgeous rich colour and patina. Woodworm treated purely as a precautionary measure. English oak dresser base circa 1780.
